is there a translation for my name in spanish or can there be one made

Some names have equivalents in other languages, like George and Jorge, Mary and María. Others don't. There are sites that list some equivalents; you could look for those if you don't want to post your name here. If you want to ask the SpanishDict community about your name in particular, you'll have to tell us what it is -- we're not mind readers!

Edit: athegr8 is right: Practically speaking, names aren't translated from one language to another. They may be pronounced differently, or there may be similar names in different languages, but a name is a name.

Translation works with meaning, so if you actually wanted a translation, you'd have to look up your name's meaning and first research to see if there's a Spanish name with the same meaning and, if there isn't, translate the meaning into Spanish (which might come out to being a phrase, or a word that isn't normally used as a name).

No, your name is the same in any language, but it will probably be pronounced differently (or changed to the equivalent: if you have a name like John- people will probably call you Juan). My name is Amelia, pronounced Ah-Mee-Lee-A in English, but in Spanish speaking countries I am always called Ah-Meh-Lee-Ya. Same name, slightly different pronunciation.
