**How would I say" Go on take it (my hat) make my day! in Spanish, please? **

How would I say" Go on take it (my hat) make my day! in Spanish, please?

I had the first part written for my picture of the day as:

Házlo ...tómalo.....

But I couldn't work out how to say "Make my day!" Like Clint Eastwood used to say in his films which would fit in with the humour of my caption. I wanted to use an idiomatic or colloquial phrase rather than a literal one unless that was inevitable/the correct way to express it !

I placed my translation into the machine and was not sure of the first two phrases but was sure the part make my day was not correct at least it sounded too literal

Here are the results ;

1. ¡Pase... lo toma... hace mi día! 2 ¡Vaya en… lo toman… hacen mi día!
   1. Sigue ... considerar ... alégrame el día!

The original translation in Spain of "Go ahead, make my day" was "Anda, alégrame el día". And to be honest, I think "alégrame el día" is a very good translation for "make my day".

In your case I'd say the whole thing as: "Vamos, cógela (mi gorra), alégrame el día".
