I need Spanish words that begin with 'w'.
What is a Spanish word that begins with 'w'?

This rings the bell. The only words in Spanish that start with W are all from other languages, especially from English.
basically , it would be quite difficult for a native Spanish speaker to pronounce such an ambiguous vowel.it's not a full U , and it's not a V. it's a trademark of romance languages, vowels are very clear. i don't know, it's the only explanation i could think of. there's whiskey and whiskería but these are not Spanish. W is not common at all in romance languages.
We have a few previous discussions on this topic if you care to do research.
Couldn't those teachers give their students something a little more constructive?
Maybe a paragraph on why there are no Spanish words starting with W, instead of a wild goose chase.
