How to say 'We wou'd like separate bills'

How would you say 'We would like separate bills' - in a restaurant.

Have asked this before but for some reason I cannot access the answer.

You could say, "Quisiéramos cuentas separadas.", we would like separate checks.

But, I hope that if you're on a date that you never say this!!!
