Es un monte boscoso. cheese

I'd say it's neither, actually. Looks like more like "un paisaje semi-desértico" o un "paisaje de playa".

Just look up the words monte and bosque in the SpanishDict dictionary. If you know what they mean, it is immediately apparent which of the two the image depicts.

Good question!

When I describe where I live to Spanish speakers I'm never really sure which word to use - "el monte" or "el bosque" - I don't think it's all that clear.

Where I live in English it is described as "bush" or "scrub"

"el monte" is scrubland or woodland "el bosque" is wood or forest.

Do you know what "monte" and "bosque" mean? If not, look it up in the dictionary, and then you can decide for yourself.
