Whats the difference between I put 'pono' Present tense & 'pose' Preterit Tense because i put is something that happened in the past anyway so how do I know which one to use?

And keep in mind that the present tense includes "I am putting" (right now in the present). The past tense does not include that. - Moe, ABR 12, 2010

Hi jp, welcome to the forumgrin

Please have a look at our conjugation tab, you will get any verb conjutated there.

Pongo and puse would be the words to use.

Put can be present or past, the same verb as it is irregular.

I always put my hat on in the morning.

Yesterday I put a plate on the table.
