in english or in spanish? - MReplogle, Mar 9, 2010
For Nila, it is almost always in English, since she is fluent in Spanish. And her questions about English are usually thought-provoking. - webdunce, Mar 9, 2010

A funny person can be a person who does funny things like tell jokes or play pranks. When you are around such a person, you will probably be laughing most of the time. We will also frequently use words like comedian or clown to describe a funny person.

Ted is such a funny guy. He had me laughing all day long.

On the other hand, a funny person can also be a person who is weird or strange. It just depends on which definition of funny you intend to use. As this is an insult or derogatory comment, we frequently soften it by saying "kind of funny."

Frank is kind of funny. He stares at me a lot.

A fun person is a person who likes to have fun and do fun things -- like go to the movies, go to the amusement park, go to different restaurants. When you are around such a person, you'll probably also be having fun. It is the opposite of a boring person.

Sarah is such a fun person. She is doing something exciting every night this week.

"Es gracioso" can mean both he is fun or funny

"Es divertido" means he is fun, or a fun person
