Welcome to the Spanishdict.com community. I reccomend you start with the video lessons and do all the exercises and flashcards within those. Additionally you can search the flashcards for convenient sets of vocabulary cards. These are presented in an interactive "game" that really does help you learn more words. If you are competitive you will notice that you earn points for your work on flashcards and in video lessons and can see how you measure up against the large and diverse community here on the website. Additionally, you can always use the dictionary and grammar reference for your specific questions about language and mechanics. Finally, remember that this is a community and we, your fellow learners, are here to help you in the answers forum and in the chat room. Buena suerte, I'm glad you've decided to learn Spanish.
You can go to "Learn Spanish" and do the video lessons which are really a great way to learn. The "Flashcards" can help you build your vocabulary. You can use the ones that are already on the site or make your own if there is particular vocab that you're trying to learn. When you look up words in the "Dictionary", click on the little speaker symbol next to the word and it will pronounce it for you. You can type text into "Translation" and it will often give a very good translation. If you have questions that can't be answered by any of the above, or you need something to be explained come to the forum and we'll try to help you. Have fun.
