¿Hay tilde sobre la 'é' en "fue"? No creo que si... - chaparrito, Feb 11, 2010
fue (no accent). You can say "Este fue el úlitmo fin de semana que..." or "Último fin de semana que..." meaning: Oh my God!! at last!!! - Benz, Feb 11, 2010
Los monosílabos, en general, no llevan tilde; excepto los que necesitan "tilde diacrítica". Ej.: Fui, fue, vio, dio, Luis, pie, Dios, cien, seis, vais, pez, ven, fe, dos, etc. - dianapmartinez, Feb 26, 2010

Heidita said:

All the sentences should start with:

Este es/será el último fin de semana que + present simple.

Try again, alexwink

No necesariamente Heidita.

But not if he was trying to talk about what he did 'last weekend'. ;-) - chaparrito, Feb 11, 2010
You have corrected me for el útimo saying that I should say La última and yet you have used El último in your post, so which is it? - kenwilliams, Feb 11, 2010
Ken, the word "último" is an adjective that can change from masculine to feminine to match the noun. :-) - chaparrito, Feb 12, 2010

I think it is more usual to say el fin de semana pasada to indicate last weekend. Just re read your post and you seem to be saying that this is the last weekend that you are going to do certain chores so yes you are right using the word último. Es el último vez que voy a cortar el cesped en los fines de semanas. This is the last time that I am going to cut the grass at weekends.

Hey alexh107! Are you trying to say "Last weekend..."? Take a look at the definition for Last (you can click this link) and you'll see that there are different ways it is used in English. Pick the meaning in English that you want and then see what the Spanish word is. smile

And based on what you said in your previous thread here:

http://www.spanishdict.com/answers/126373/sentences I think the word 'último' is not the word you are looking for. wink

All of your "sentences" (except the 3rd) are not sentences because there are no main/independent clauses. You have "ultimo fin de semana" followed by an adjective clause. Your 3rd isn't a sentence, either, but comes closer to being one. It still lacks a finite verb and the word order is, at best, very unusual.

It would help if you were to include the English version of what you are trying to express.

It should be Último (with an accent). Someone else needs to check for grammar...that is my weakness.
