How do i conjugate pedir vs poder in past tense

would this be right:

pedir: pedí, pediste, pidió, pedimos, pedieron

poder: pude, pudiste, pude, pudimos, puden

I just wanted to answer for future reference, because non of the above were correct.

pedir Yo pedi tú pediste él pidió nosotros pedimos ellos pidieron.

Poder yo pude tu pudiste él pudo nosotros pudimos ellos pudieron.

Yo pedí tú... Previous replies omitted vostoros because it is the same as ustedes in L.A., but if you're going to put "ellos" not "ustedes" then you need to put vosotros - 0074b507, JUN 15, 2010

pedir looks like. poder does not:

poder: pude pudiste pudo pudimos pudieron

here's a hint, the dictionary has the conjugations:

poder

scroll to the bottom of the definition page, and the verb chart is listed! smile
