I'm having dificulty understanding idiomatic hacer.
I'm supposed to write a short bit about myself using the idiomatic use of hacer five times. My problem is I don't understand how to use hacer very well. What does hacer do?

Write a paragraph mentioning your day's activities. Use hacer to describe the weather. Use hacer with time (two hours ago....). If you look at our dictionary's definition of hacer you will find other idioms that you can incorporate into your paragraph like:
estoy haciendo segundo
hacer el tonto
hacerse daño

Sorry, I just have to comment on this...hacer actually means "do" so it's kinda funny that you managed to sandwich hacer between does and do.
