I want to say something to the effect of, "I want to increase our market share in Mexico within a year."

"market share" = "participación de mercado" (at least in México it does)
your sentence would be: "Quiero incrementar nuestra participación de mercado en México dentro de un año."
you could sub 'incrementar' with 'aumentar', 'subir', 'enriquecer', 'crecer', etc.
