What does "tirando" mean? I'm using Rosetta Stone if that helps any. Thanks to all who help out!

If "tirar" is your verb then it could mean "to throw" (depending on the context).
"Tirando" would be "throwing."
Please note that "tirar" is one of those verbs that has lots of different meanings depending on the context.
