a. stolen
El bolso robado apareció, pero los ladrones se habían llevado el dinero que contenía.The stolen purse appeared, but the thieves had taken the money from it.
b. robbed
Los policías arrestaron a los hombres que escondían el cuadro robado.The policemen arrested the men who were hiding the robbed painting.
A masculine noun is used with masculine articles and adjectives (e.g. el hombre guapo, el sol amarillo).
