2. (sensitive)
a. delicate
El resbaladizo tema del aborto es muy polémico porque existen opiniones muy diferentes.The delicate issue of abortion is very controversial because people have very different opinions.
b. tricky
A word or phrase that is commonly used in conversational speech (e.g. skinny, grandma).
Prefiero no opinar sobre un tema tan resbaladizo como la independencia de Cataluña.I'd rather not give an opinion on such a tricky issue as the independence of Catalonia.
