An adverb is a word that describes a verb, an adjective, or other adverbs (e.g. to run quickly, very tired).
1. (no other thing besides)
a. nothing else
Mi hija se pasa el día jugando con el celular. Parece que no le interesa nada más.My daughter spends the whole day playing with her cellphone. Nothing else seems to interest her.
b. anything else (in negative or interrogative sentences)
No pudimos traer nada más porque vinimos en el auto pequeño.We could't bring anything else because we came in the small car.
c. nothing more
Dadas las circunstancias en que se encuentran, no se les puede pedir nada más.Given the situation they are in, you can ask nothing more from them.
d. anything more (in negative or interrogative sentences)
En este momento no puedo contarle nada más, ya que se trata de una operación secreta.I cannot tell you anything more right now, since it is a secret operation.
e. that's all
¿Quiere alguna otra cosa? - No, gracias, nada más.Do you want anything else? - No, that's all, thank you.
2. (no more than)
a. only
Me queda un chicle nada más, pero, toma, para ti.I've only got one piece of chewing gum left, but you can have it.
3. (that's the only reason)
a. that's all
Somos tus padres y solo tratamos de hacer lo mejor para ti, nada más.We're your parents and are only trying to do what's best for you, that's all.
b. just
Llamaba nada más para asegurarme de que estabas bien.I was just calling to make sure you were OK.

4. (just after)
a. as soon as
Llámanos nada más llegar al hotel.Give us a call as soon as you arrive in the hotel.
b. straight after

c. right after
Mi mujer, nada más llegar a casa del trabajo, se tumba en el sofá hasta la hora de cenar.My wife, right after arriving home from work, goes and lies on the sofa until dinner time.
