A feminine noun is almost always used with feminine articles and adjectives (e.g. la mujer bonita, la luna llena).

b. default
En caso de morosidad, la tasa de interés aumentará un cinco por ciento.In the event of default, the interest rate will increase by five percent.
2. (unpaid debt)
a. arrears
La morosidad llegó al medio millón de pesos.The arrears reached half a million pesos.
3. (sluggishness)
a. slowness
Me volvía loco la morosidad con la que el oficinista llenaba el formulario.The slowness with which the clerk was filling in the form was driving me nuts.
