A noun is a word referring to a person, animal, place, thing, feeling or idea (e.g. man, dog, house).

(m) means that a noun is masculine. Spanish nouns have a gender, which is either feminine (like la mujer or la luna) or masculine (like el hombre or el sol).
Some English modal verbs, such as "will" and "would", have no direct translation in Spanish, but are expressed by future and conditional verb conjugations.Algunos verbos modales en inglés, como "will" y "would", no tienen traducción directa en español, sino que se expresan con las conjugaciones del futuro y el condicional.
