1. (third person singular)

b. he told her (masculine)

c. he said to him (masculine)
No sé qué le dijo, pero el otro niño jamás volvió a molestar a Raúl.I don't know what he said to him, but the other kid never bothered Raul again.
d. he said to her (masculine)
Al contrario. Eso es lo que él le dijo a ella.Quite the opposite. That's what he said to her.
e. she told him (feminine)
Le dijo que en todos sus años de enfermera nunca había tenido un paciente como él.She told him she'd never had a patient like him in all her years as a nurse.
f. she told her (feminine)
Le dijo que era una niñita malcriada.She told her she was a spoiled little girl.
g. she said to him (feminine)
"Eres un inútil," eso es lo que ella le dijo."You're useless," that's what she said to him.
h. she said to her (feminine)
¿Oíste lo de la jefa de María? No te creerás lo que le dijo.Have you heard about María's boss? You'll never believe what she said to her.
(second person singular)
A word or phrase used to refer to the second person formal “usted” by their conjugation or implied context (e.g. usted).
a. he told you (masculine)
Aquí pone que ya habló con su médico. ¿Me puede contar lo que le dijo?It says here you've already spoken to your doctor. Could you tell me what he told you?
b. he said to you (masculine)
¿Así que el policía lo llamó y eso es lo que le dijo?So, the police officer called you and that's what he said to you?
c. she told you (feminine)
Veo que ya habló con su contadora y que le dijo que esta es la cantidad pendiente.I see you've already spoken to your accountant and she told you this is the amount outstanding.
d. she said to you (feminine)
Hablaré con la recepcionista, señora. Sinceramente siento lo que le dijo.I will speak to the receptionist, madam. I sincerely apologize for what she said to you.
