A masculine noun is used with masculine articles and adjectives (e.g. el hombre guapo, el sol amarillo).

(act of equipping) a. equipping El equipamiento del laboratorio se realizará el lunes para que esté disponible para su uso el martes. The equipping of the lab will be made on Monday so it is ready to use on Tuesday. 3. (automobile) a. features El equipamiento de lujo del carro no está incluido en el precio. Por eso es tan barato.
