An intransitive verb phrase is a phrase that combines a verb with a preposition or other particle and does not require a direct object (e.g. Everybody please stand up.).
a. elegir la palabra que no corresponde
The teacher told me to choose the word that didn't belong, but I couldn't figure it out.La maestra me dijo que eligiera la palabra que no correspondía, pero no conseguí hacerlo.
