2. (resembling; used with nouns to form adjectives)

El vino tiene un sabor avinagrado.The wine has a vinegar-like taste.
3. (act of; used with verbs to form nouns)

4. (position)
a. -cy
El papado de Urbano VII duró apenas 13 días.The papacy of Urban VII lasted only 13 days.
b. -ate
Durante mi rectorado se implementaron muchos cambios en la escuela.Many changes were implemented in the school during my rectorate.
5. (group)
a. body (noun)
La mitad del alumnado es bilingüe.Half of the student body is bilingual.
b. system (noun)
Esta fue la primera ciudad del país que tuvo alcantarillado.This was the first city in the country to have a sewage system.
