An adjective is a word that describes a noun (e.g. the big dog).
1. (tacky)

b. sticky
Nos falta una sustancia adhesiva para pegar el papel pintado a la pared.We need a sticky substance to glue the wallpaper to the wall.
A masculine noun is used with masculine articles and adjectives (e.g. el hombre guapo, el sol amarillo).
