A suffix is an affix that is added to the end of a word to create a new word with a different meaning (e.g. philia, ism).
1. (used with adjectives and some adverbs to form the superlative)
a. very (adverb)
Este pastel está riquísimo. ¿Me das la receta?This cake is very tasty. Can I have the recipe?
b. really (adverb)
El examen me pareció facilísimo. Estoy segura de que me sacaré un 10.I thought the exam was really easy. I'm sure I'll get an A.
This refers to an idiomatic word or phrase for which there is no word-for-word translation.
