A phrase is a group of words commonly used together (e.g once upon a time).
1. (used to talk about perspective; third person singular)
a. as it is seen
Este es el pueblo, como se ve desde la cima de la montaña.This is the village, as it is seen from the top of the mountain.
2. (used to talk about aspect; third person singular)
a. as he looks
Andrés no es tan inocente como se ve.Andres is not quite as innocent as he looks.
b. as she looks
Quiero verme tan linda como se ve ella a los 90 años.I want to look as pretty as she looks at 90.
c. as it looks
Dibuja el objeto tal como se ve.Draw the object just as it looks.
3. (used to talk about aspect; second person singular) (formal)
A word or phrase used to refer to the second person formal “usted” by their conjugation or implied context (e.g., usted).
a. as you look
Su hermano no se ve tan alto como se ve usted.Your brother doesn't look as tall as you look.
