Si el Presidente se viere en la imposibilidad de ejercer sus funciones o dejare de ser miembro de la Comisión, se elegirá para el resto del mandato un nuevo Presidente.	If the Chairman ceases to be able to carry out his or her functions or ceases to be a member of the Commission, a new Chairman shall be elected for the remainder of the term.
Sin perjuicio de lo dispuesto en el artículo 7, el o la suplente solo asistirá a las reuniones del Comité, y no participará en sus trabajos si el miembro a quien reemplace se viere imposibilitado para ello.
