Pinate got the idea for Lunadas from Teresa Sanchez owner of San Jose-based restaurant, Chacho's, where Pinate held Lunadas for the four years before making his move north.	Pinate obtuvo la idea de Lunadas de Teresa Sánchez, dueña del restaurante Chacho ubicado en San José, donde Pinate celebró Lunadas durante cuatro años, antes de mudarse hacia el norte.
The Festival will be held at the Anayansi Theatre, City of Knowledge Athenaeum, Anita Villalaz Theatre and several alternative spaces such as Xielo, Biomuseo, the Kiwanis Gymnasium in El Chorrillo and the Elena Chávez de Pinate School in Juan Díaz.	El Festival tendrá como sede el Teatro Anayansi, el Ateneo de Ciudad del Saber, Teatro Anita Villalaz y varios espacios alternativos como Xielo, Biomuseo, el Gimnasio Kiwanis de El Chorillo y la Escuela Elena Chávez de Pinate en Juan Díaz.
