Los oblatos empezaron a trabajar en esta diócesis en 1987, haciéndose cargo del seminario menor de Yabwanza y de la parroquia y colegio de Opala.	The Oblates have been in the diocese since 1987 when they took charge of the minor seminary at Yabwanza, and the parish and college at Opala.

Los cultivares Ciko, Dalcahue, Domo, Huayún, Opala y Tamoi fueron sembrados en las localidades de San Clemente, Santa Rosa y Humán en la temporada 1997-1998, usando un diseño de bloque al azar con cuatro repeticiones.	Ciko, Dalcahue, Domo, Huayún, Opala, and Tamoi cultivars were sown at locations at San Clemente, Santa Rosa and Humán during the 1997-1998 season, using a randomized complete block design with four replicates.

El año pasado hemos recibido un informe de una sesión de los oblatos del distrito de Isangi, dándonos a conocer el trabajo en esta diócesis. En Opala se observan dos orientaciones pastorales importantes.	A report of a meeting of Oblates in the Isangi district was sent to us last year. It gives us some idea of their work in the diocese. In Opala there are two major pastoral orientations.
