Ocharán concluded that a specific combination of sustainable energies is needed for each country and that there do indeed exist technologies with the potential to reduce CO2 emissions. Finally, Enrique Ocharán, deputy director of the Spanish Department of Energy Planning, focused his intervention on how to minimize the CO2 emissions that damage the environment and cause worldwide climatic change. Ocharán pointed out that the technology with the potential to reduce the emissions of carbon dioxide exists and that it must be taken advantage of, although he emphasized that no technology can solve on its own the problem of polluting emissions.
