There are different theories about its origin, although it has been proved that 'la Jota Aragonesa' had influenced it due to the contact between Cádiz and Zaragoza especially because both cities resisted the French invador.	Existen teorías diferentes acerca de su origen, aunque parece demostrada la influencia que en su génesis tuvo la Jota Aragonesa debido al contacto especial entre Cádiz y Zaragoza en razón a su común resistencia al invasor francés.
