Las Repúblicas de Armenia y Azerbaiyán se desgajaron de la URSS en septiembre-octubre de 1991.	The Republics of Armenia and Azerbaijan broke away from the USSR in September-October 1991.
Entonces se desgajaron en dos grupos, uno dirigido por Loló Alva de la Canal, el otro por Graciela Amador bajo el impulso de los Cueto, aunque también con el apoyo de los ministerios de Educación y de Bellas Artes.
