In 2007, Nakanwagi joined The Union as Chief of Party for Uganda's USAID-funded TB-CAP project.	En 2007, Nakanwagi se unió a La Unión como Jefe de Grupo del proyecto TB-CAP, financiado por USAID, de Uganda.
