La finca La Bastilla está situada más o menos a 20 kilómetros de Jinotega, o 6 kilómetros al este del Lago de Apanas, y colinda con la reserva Datanlí El Diablo, una reserva biológica importante en la zona de Jinotega.	La Bastilla farm is situated approximately 20 kilometres away from Jinotega, or 6 kilometres to the East of Apanás Lake, and is adjacent to the Datanli el Diablo nature reserve, which is an important biological reserve in the Jinotega area.
