An adverb is a word that describes a verb, an adjective, or other adverbs (e.g. to run quickly, very tired).
a. por lo tanto
The borrower is unable to repay the loan. Therefore, his assets will be seized.El prestatario no puede pagar el préstamo. Por lo tanto se confiscarán sus bienes.
b. por consiguiente
You said you wanted to buy a house. You should, therefore, start saving.Dijiste que querías comprar una casa. Por consiguiente, deberías empezar a ahorrar.
c. luego (literary)
