GRACIAS!!!!! that helped me a lot to understand how to utilize the "decir" i wanted to say that my father only tole me about the lottery and tole me not to tell anyone else. I just took out the solamente part. it makes a lot more sense now. GRACIAS!!
Me llamo Esperanza y [del]yo[/del] soy una chica muy feliz. Me siento feliz porque mi padre ha ganado la lotería. ¡Un millón dólares! Mi padre solamente me dijo lo de la lotería y me pidió que no se lo dijera a nadie. Se lo diremos cada uno en la fiesta de cumpleaños de mi madre. ¡Tengo la responsabilidad de preparar la fiesta y hay tanto que hacer!
Como tengo que hacer la tarea esta noche, voy a ir a de tiendas mañana. ¡Necesito prepararme para la fiesta pronto porque es en cuatro días! Primero, pediré un pastel de cumpleaños para mi madre en la mejor pastelería de la ciudad. Segundo, iré a la tienda de ropa y compraré un vestido azul para mi madre, un vestido verde para mí, y un vestido rosado para Nenny. También compraré unos trajes para mi padre y mis hermanos.
Por cierto, "Mi padre solamente me dijo..." se traduce como "My father only told me...", y no como "My father just told me...".
