My niece is volunteering at an orphanage in Equador. She said the childern sometimes call her guapita. What does it mean? I couldn't find a spanish translation. I don't even know if she spelled it correctly.

Guapa is an adjective to describe a beautiful woman. The addition of the diminutive -ita is used as a term of endearment.
