"High Heat"

Hi!

Can you help me translate the phrase "high heat" into Spanish. As in, "this material can withstand high heat."

Would that be "calor alto'" "Calor fuerte'"

Thank you very much!

Is it really "high heat" you want to say? Because technically speaking, "heat" is the amount of thermal energy transferred, not temperature. You can have a lot of heat at low temperatures. If you really meant to say "temperature":

... puede resistir temperaturas extremas.

P.S. I know that "heat" is used to mean "temperature", but it is not the appropriate technical word for it.

Hi Adam, welcome to the forum.

I would translate:

resiste calor extremo
