seny, sentidiño
Hello.
Could you help me with these words? I suppose they are augmentative and diminutive the same word, but not sure.

I know, that Catalan is different than spanish. All the rest of the 'speach' I try to translate is in spanish. So I supposed that the part too.
However thanx for reply.
http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seny - got it!
None of those words are Spanish. Catalan is a different language, and unless you speak it, a native Spanish speaker is not likely to understand more than 60% on average.
OK, I found sentido (root word of sentidiño) - sense, meaning etc., but what about seny?
"el 'seny català? i el 'sentidiño galego'" - both words come from the expression. Could anybody try to translate this?
