oooooh! I would be so happy if you commented! My blog is public so you don't need to be 'invited' to leave comments but you do need a gmail account as qfreed said.

Sihara, do I have to register to leave a comment?

Maybe you do. You don't have to register on her site, but you must have a Google account (such as use Google mail or Google chat on your Chrome browser, etc.) I didn't think about it because I have a Google account.
Did you notice that you can download an Atom if you want updates on her blog entries'

Keep it up. Brass it out. There has to be a reward somewhere down the road even if it is only the respect and admiration of other members of SpanishDict. Thanks for sharing.

Well, Moe and Sihara, that is certainly true. smile Not everybody dares to write in Spanish and a blog post is a very good practice and gives some insight to the personal life of the forer. My respect is yours .

I am sorry we don't have this item on the forum any more, that is a shame confused

I will go check both sihara's blog and yours now and again smile

Hi sihara, es bueno ver como te esfuerzas. Pegando el texto aquí podemos ayudarte a corregir tus errores.

...and share the reasons for the corrections with the rest of us.

Es opportunidad para practicar y con sus ayuda y commentarios voy a aprender mucho!!!

su ayuda...to be sus the noun must be plural (even collective nouns...el gente, los gentes) <> can be your singular or your plural.

I'm talking to you...your book (su (sing.) libro)

I'm talking to you and Heidita...your book (su libro)(you (pl) both own it)

I'm talking to you and Heidita...your books (sus libros) more than 1 book

...con su ayuda y sus commentarios...
if you thought that it should be sus because (ayuda y commentarios is compound) then that is why you repeat the possessive adjective with each item in a series. (we violate this all of the time in English)

Thanks for your support everyone. I can't wait to write another one.

I thought 'sus ayuda' sounded wrong but I thought that 'you plural' was sus.

My questions?

Did I do the 'pedir a' right'* para los pedir algo a los padres*?

And this: está decepcionado por mi culpa.

I wanted to say "I feel like I've disappointed him".

para pedirles algo a los padres.

algo=d.o.
les=i.o.
(a los padres)=clarifier for who les are

Spanish often expresses passive voice using the pronominal verb (infinitive+se). I'll leave it for someone more qualified than me to express it for you.

Me parece que lo he decepcionado. may skirt the whole issue of passive voice, however.

Sihara:

Thanks for sharing. To publicly expose a BLOG of personal writing requires a certain bravura or confianza en una misma. I hope more members will do it because I think it adds a lot to the feeling of family that makes SpanisDict a warm feeling place to spend time.

I invite you to investigate my BLOG. It has been a long time since I added to it, but I do have some plans for it. You will find my BLOG here:
