He is ten years-old. - or - She is eight years old.

I learned to use "tiene anos". But I am still not clear about how to use it. Could somebody please explain'

"Tiene anos" means "He/she has anusses" (=assholes). The word for "years" in Spanish is "años"; without the ÿ, the word "anos" means "anusses".

For "He is X years old" we say "Tiene X (años)" in Spanish.
