How do you tell a guy he's good looking/cute? (in central american spanish). I thought it was hermoso, but recently read that is more "cutsy" like little kid cute and guapo should be used even if not in Spain?

Any help is appreciated!

Welcome to the forum, Linda smile

Hmm, hermoso would be strange over here in Spain. Guapo is the word we use, also está bueno, está como un tren...yes I know, sounds weird, jeje cheese

We do use apuesto, however no young person would use that.

Apuesto...Bello...Lindo

I don't think guapo is widely understood in Central America.

Of course, there might be other colloquial expressions that I'm unaware of especially since I'm heterosexual. LOL

Mexicans use the terms 'padre? o 'madre? to indicate excellence, and it has a wide range of applications.

'Está padrísimo'? or 'Está madrísima'? (check with the Mexicans around here for this one).

Others I found: simpático atractivo, cuco, gracioso.
