Sorry I did not realize that every forum post should be forumlated as a question.

It is not for me to say, but a little introduction or explanation would have helped.

also, of course, this is an original and wonderful song

superior to that which passes for modern popular music -

it was composed in our town back in the nineteen-thirties

by Raful Krayem, and performed by veteran local musicians.

I agree with you very much so. I do love 'vintage' music, in 'English' I mostly listen to "Big Bands", and in Spanish I love the music of twenties to fifties. I just wish I know how to find them.

A true poet is Agustin Lara.

You can find hope in his songs

Noche de Ronda is one of them ...

I do like Agustín Lara, I really enjoyed November '08 presentation 'Homenaje a Agustin Lara? from Madrid. Just too bad I cannot understand the language to appreciate what was said

.The feelings are understood, that the beauty of being .

Voy recordando versos juveniles
¿Qué fue de aquél mi corazón sonoro?
¿Será cierto que os vais, sombras gentiles,
huyendo entre los árboles de oro'

I would call attention to the superlative Spanish diction of the singer;
the clarity of enunciation might be helpful to a sincere spanish student.

additionally, we are always interested in suggesteed improvements
to the (in this case) translation to the english language)
