This is going to sound a little strange, but our homeowner's association has gardeners that mow our front yard and trim any plants in the front yard. I want to take care of my plants, because they trim our bushes way too far back, and they are Hibiscus and such, which I like to look "wild". I want to put a sign in from of some of the bushes that says something like "Please do not trim bushes", and want to do it in English and Spanish. I could use babelfish or something, but I want the Spanish to sound correct, not to offend the guys. How would I say either "Please do not trim the bushes.", or "Please do not prune the bushes.", without sounding like a dolt? Thanks in advance!
