Help!!! translate graduation welcome to spanish

Hi guys! I am a second grade teacher and my children are "graduating" next week. I am going to have one of my students say our welcome in Spanish. Can somebody help me translate? I need for him to say:

Good morning and welcome to our program. We thank you for joining us today during this special time. From our first day in second grade to our graduation, this year has taught us many new things. We look forward to what is ahead. We would like to thank our parents, family members, and friends for all of your support. Congratulations Class of 2009, we're on our way!

Thank you so so much for any help!

Translating something literally is not always the best approach to translation. Estamos en nuestro camino just doesn't feel/sound right to me. But, I am not a native speaker of Spanish, so, perhaps someone who is might be of more help with that.

You have a point, but for somebody who translates literally like me, we are on our way would be estamos en nuestro camino, that's all.

Thank you, but did you like it overall?

It definitely wasn't bad, and in many ways, probably better than mine. I highlighted the accents and the ñ's.

I think that the last sentence is especially difficult to translate the meaning. I understand what it means to me, but it can be said in many different ways in both English and Spanish. You could say Estamos en camino, which means we are on our way (or on the path), Estamos en la marcha, we are marching, Vámonos, we are going, Vámonos adelante, we are going forward, etc., etc.

Buenos dias y bienvenidos a nuestro programa. Le damos las gracias por acompañarnos hoy en este tiempo especial. Desde nuestro primer dia en segundo grado a nuestra graduacion, este año nos ha enseñado muchas cosas nuevas. Esperamos con interés lo que está delante. Nos gustaría agradecer a nuestros padres, familiares, amigos y para todo su apoyo. Felicitaciones Clase de 2009, estamos en nuestro camino!

To type the ñ you hold down ALT and type 164. When you release the alt key you will get ñ. The á is ALT + 160. The í is ALT + 161. The é is ALT + 130

Hi, I have received your request, I kinda have the answer for you, but I don't know if it can be used by a second grade student, because it's grammatically perfect, and I doubt that a kid that young would be able to know this even if
he/she was Hispanic, anyway, here it is, good luck.

Nos gustaria agradecer a nuestros padres, familiares, amigos y para todos su apoyo. Felicitaciones Clase de 2009, estamos en nuestro camino!

Provided that the kid should have the appropriate Spanish accent, which he can pretty much get if he was to take this piece of paper to his parents, and let them read it in front of him many times in preparation for this event. Needless to say that he also has to know how to say 2009 in Spanish as well. And that's how you say it, in case s/he doesn't know:

Dos mil y nueve.

Good luck again.

I think this version is more formal.

Buenos días, sean bienvenidos a nuestro programa (de clausura de fin de cursos). Agradecemos su amable prescencia en esta ocasión tan especial. Desde nuestro primer día de actividades en el segundo grado hasta el día de hoy, el de nuestra graducación, este año nos ha enseñado cosas nuevas. Miramos el porvenir con esperanza. Quisieramos agradecer a nuestros padres, familiares y amigos por todo su apoyo.

¡Felicitaciones a la Clase 2009, we're on our way¡ (I don't how to translate this)

Buenos Días y bienvenidos a nuestro programa. Les agradecimos por estar con nosotros durante este tiempo especial. Desde nuestro primer día en el segundo grado hasta nuestra graduación, este año nos ha enseñado muchas cosas. Nos miramos hacía el futuro. (There could be several ways to say this depending on how much emphasis you want to put on looking forward, I literally said "We look towards the future"). Queremos agradecer a nuestros padres, miembros de nuestras familias y amigos por su apoyo completo. Clase de 2009, felicitaciones, ¡vámonos!

Just as a side note, you should probably change your title to reflect what you want help with and not just say "Help!!!"

This is how I would say it, though there are probably better ways to say it.
