hola y gracias,

I guessed that it was a glitch. This is a free site and has been very helpful for the most part so I'm not wanting to complain. I was hoping I was doing something wrong and have been attempting different things, switching browsers I haven't yet done but I'll try that.

mucho gracias,
Frances

hola amigos y amigas

What am I doing wrong? I can't seem to get my lessons to score after I'm completing them.

gracias,

Frances

Check the many posts here and you will see that there are some glitches in the scoring system. It USUALLY is recording your score, but not displaying them properly. Try switching browsers as that sometimes makes your score display. If your scores don't show up after a few day then re-post. That seems to be the only way the IT people here discover bugs. The problem is they seldom provide feedback telling you that they are aware of the problem and are or will addresss it as time allows.

Buenos Dias wonderful people,

Thank you for the pointers yesterday, I must agree with the 199 score phenomenon, so I guess the only way around it is to deliberately answer one incorrectly. I shall do so and duly report back. Thank you for welcoming me to the forum senorita.

Adios.

..., how far are you?

I'm current, i.e., I have done all of the Learn Spanish and Learn English lessons that have been posted so far. If you have any questions on the Write sections feel free to PM me. We once had or discussed creating one, a forum Category exculsively devoted to Paralee's lessons, but it seems to have evaporated in cyberspace.

HI colete, it has happened to me that the flashcards I have just created do not show on one browser but do show on another.

Might this happen here too? Quentin will probably know better.

Welcome to the forum smile

Good point as I have seen that phenomenon where when you switch browsers that your points appear/disappear, but, like most of the glitches here, it seems random so just telling someone to try to use another browser isn't a certain workaround.

This may have happend to me also. When doing the listen section of lesson 1.5 every time I got a 200, it would give me a message to log in to record the score, even though I was already logged in. When I followed the link, the score would not record. But when I scored a 199, the score was recorded with no problem (and no message to log in).

Hi Shaun, thanks for sharing, I hope the same thing will happen to Colete.

Welcome to the forum. smile

Hello anyone out there,

I am sooooo frustrated, I have now done my lesson five times, and my perfect score is not being recorded, what am i doing wrong?

I wouldn't be concerned. Your scores are probably recorded, but just not being displayed. I only partially completed the last lesson, then went off to post some mail concerning them. My points were visible when I left, but were gone when I returned. I completed the lesson and the points were back again. The next day when I returned to review something, my points were gone again. Yet, when I looked at the Write section which I had returned to review, I had partial points and my answers to the questions were still there.

In short, the server has gone bonkers again. But I have never had it lose my points. Wait a day or two and check back and I'll bet you that your points are there.
If you are not logged on (or signed up for the classes) the server will not let you access the lessons. So even if it's telling you that you aren't logged on (which it has done to me numerous times) don't believe it. If you saw the points for your other lessons when you started doing the lesson then you were logged on.
Now if you stopped, left the site, and logged back on to the site under a different account or as a guest then backed your browser pages back to the lesson, then maybe you could be doing a lesson and not be logged in, but barring "backing into" a lesson you should be logged on and it probably is recording your scores, but maybe not displaying them as it should.
