Azucena scene 19 ''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''

Walking jaúntily over to the chute where a black bull is pinioned,
his partner moves closer to him, looks over at him, checking him.

Arturo is superstitious, he would never look at the animal before;
so he is seeing it for the first time - it has enormous big horns.

Los ayudantes lo ayudan a manipular la bestia jalando cuerdas;

The rodeo helpers manipulate the beast pulling on the ropes;
they had lassoed a web of these ropes around the bull's head.

Mientras jalan, un tipo flaco le tuerce ferozmente la cola al toro;

While the cowboys pull, a skinny fellow ferociously twists the tail;
they have this big bruiser black bull all pinioned, waiting for him.

El inspecciona la cinta del cincho, la cual su ayudante ya ha apretado;

He checks the cinch strap, which his second has already tightened;
he moves on automatically as every nerve in his body wanted to run.

Sube a los lados de la valla hasta que esta ' sobre ' el toro;

He climbs onto the sideboards of the pen until he is 'over' the bull;
the cowboys are all manipulating the animal into the center for him.

El miedo regresa a su corazón, él busca la oportunidad para saltar;

The fear rises again in his heart, he's looking for a chance to jump;
with the huge beast in presence, he fears that the worst will happen.

El hace dos intentos; el toro esta muy cerca de los lados de la caja;

He makes two tríes; the bull is too close to the side gate;
he has to be sure to get seated before flying out the chute.

El esta arriba posándose en los travesaños de madera;

He is high up on the boards perched on the wooden planks;
getting set to leap onto the brute creature at any moment.

I changed pinioned to tied in the first couplet since you used amarrado. If you didn't mean tied, then maybe "penned" is better.

In the fourth couplet, I'm unsure what to do with "all pinioned". Pinioned isn't right because that means trapping a birds wings, but I wanted something with a similar sense to the Spanish. Maybe "all tied up" or "tied up in knots".
