i was wondering if anyone could help me translate this. It doesn't have to be exact as long as the meaning is clear.

Depending on whether "your" is singular or plural, and whether it is formal or informal.

Yolii, regardless of how things are said in English, the verb "ir" used to express the result of something, has two constructions, as it is clearly shown in any good dictionary: an intransitive and an impersonal construction. You and Aifos seem to prefer the impersonal one, but the intransitive one that James suggests is also perfect. Simply remove the indirect object, and you'll see how natural is the intransitive construction: "¿Cómo fue todo'" (=¿Cómo resultó todo').

Yo mismo he dicho miles de veces "¿Cómo te fueron los exámenes'", donde "los exámenes" es el sujeto de la oración (por eso el verbo va también en plural) y el verbo funciona como intransitivo.
Yo en lo personal nunca había estuchado 'te fueron? pero siempre hay una primera vez.
En "¿Cómo te fue en los exámenes'", el verbo funciona como impersonal; por eso está inmovilizado en tercera persona del singular, y no hay sujeto.

I can't say for sure that it is correct Spanish, but I can explain why it makes sense to use the plural. It's because los exámenes is plural, and "te" is the indirect object of the action (ir) of that noun. Therefore, los exámenes is the subject of the sentence, and the verb must agree with the subject.
Thank you for the explanation it makes sense, but I just have to insist I never used; ¿Cómo te fueron los exámenes? Nor any one I know (native Spanish speakers) and that's why my first reaction to this expression was perplex. We would ask: ¿Cómo te fue en los exámenes? = How did it go for you in the exams'
If we say, for example, "¿Cómo te fue el día'" (How did your day go'), then how would you word that question if you were talking about a number of days? I realize that that is an unlikely sentence, but I'm asking just for grammatical purposes.

¿Cómo te fue la semana pasada?

Yolii, wouldn't "cómo le fueron los exámenes" mean something like " how did the exams go for you", whereas "cómo te fue en los exámenes" is more like "how did you go in the exams"?
Both seem correct to me, but I'm no expert (and neither is google, by the way; as someone said, the internet is an incredibly amazing source of misinformation)

'Como te parecieron los exámenes?
and I'm sorry but?
'how did you go in the exams? doesn't make any sense to me in Spanish; it would be something like:
'como te fuiste en los exámenes''''

James, I did googled it and also looked into the threads but it still doesn't make sense to me. Apparently a lot of people use "fueron" to ask this question but I still think is incorrect.
