When I type a word into the dictionary, sometimes when I press enter "SpanishDict" appears. Other times, when I type the word in, I will be navigated to the translation of "Translate." Why does this happen and/or why does this happen'

Tonya, I would never have seen the translator not working either without your help, thanks!

AS it seems, the site is picking up again and this weekend we had a very busy weekend! So much so that the server got overloaded. confused

We are happy to see that the site is still so popular inspite of all the changes and some malfunctions. grin

We are grateful that the aim of this site, a learning site, is maintained by all the help we get through helpful forers.

WE hope you like it here. smile

I don't know who has to work on a Sunday to make these fixes, but I thank those who have it all working again! Let's hope it stays that way.

I seem to be having problems now with "could not connect: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (11)" on conjugator, and dictionary doesn't find anything "Sorry, we could not find the word "work" " lol the internet hates me

As it seems, it hates me too. red face

Both are down again. At 8 am loca time, both functions worked fine. confused

I will report the failure again.

I really miss the dictionary, and am happy to hear that the problem is being looked into. In the mean time, I am very pleased that the translator is still working. grin

Hello administrators!

Thank you for recognizing the problem and working on getting it resolved.

Do you have any indication of when the site will be up and running again?

Thanks,
David

We are sorry to see that we get malfunctions on both dictionary and conjugator. (I have merged both threads)

this has been reported and the web creator is seeing to it.

We hope to get this fixed as soon as posible.

Thanks smile

It seems, at least on my computer, that the conjugation tab is not working either. I get an error message that says: "ould not connect: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (11)"

Hi Estavan

I have reported this fault to the web designers.
