I notice that a lot of you are really good in grammar/translation both in English & Spanish so I was wondering what you do for a living. Just wondering how many teachers, interpreters, and actual translators are part of this forum. I'll start with me. I'm in Accounts Receivable/Collections and I do all the translation from English to Spanish as needed in the office, of course with the great help of this forum.

¿Y Tu a que te dedicas'

See we got to be able to find happiness in every little thing! Aurino.

Please don't take me seriously, I seldom mean what I say or say what I mean, especially when talking about feelings. (you know how men are...)

Although I do agree that happiness which comes from happy times which means it comes and goes never last

I actually don't believe happiness is something you can have; life is made of happy and sad moments. You can't possibly have one and not the other.

but peace in your heart and mind can last a lifetime if you know how to cultivate it

I understand and agree.

How exciting I just went from a 'newbie? to a 'junior member? that makes me happy!

See we got to be able to find happiness in every little thing! Aurino. Although I do agree that happiness which comes from happy times which means it comes and goes never last but peace in your heart and mind can last a lifetime if you know how to cultivate it (cultivarlo)?

Y creo que he encontrado paz en este punto de mi vida y trato de cultivarla día tras día independientemente de mi ocupación y situaciones en mi vida y en el mundo'.

A while back I learned not to be a hater'. Thanks for the 'quote'

How interesting and surprising I though men (or most men) were braggers

We are, but we must have something to brag about smile

unfortunately we all been there, I had a job which lasted only one month because I hated it so much but now I'm happy!

Not to sound pessimistic but here's a snippet from a famous bossa-nova song:

Tristeza não tem fim
Felicidade, sim

(if it's not obvious, it means "la tristeza no tiene fin, la felicidad sí" - I didn't say it, Antonio Carlos Jobim did smile)

Thank you Heidita for sharing'.I think it's so cool to be a teacher and have an opportunity to make an impact on the lives of those you teach!

Thanks to all who posted a response even if its just to say that 'you hate your job''..unfortunately we all been there, I had a job which lasted only one month because I hated it so much but now I'm happy!

I'm sorry Yolii, Heidita is right, I don't wanna say what I do for a living, basically because I'm not doing it anymore and I really don't want to do it again...but anyway, It's good to see you! zipper

Is one of those things that you are not..a riddler?

¿Y tú, a qué te dedicas?

¿Y vosotros, a qué os dedicáis?
¿Y ustedes, a qué se dedican? (pronominal)
