to sign a lease

Hola All~ Me llamo FaTima'However I prefer to be called Tima, I'm new to this forum, and I am very interested in learning to speak fluent Spanish. After doing a bit of research I came up with this neat site! am I'm glad I did I strongly considered purchasing Rosetta Stone. However, my uhhh'frugal & conservative significant other suggested that I 1st try learning for free! I love him, but he's soooo tight he squeaks! Anywho? I start a new job on Mon, April 27th & the majority of the Residents where I will be working speak primarily Spanish. I would really appreciate any help I can get on translating a word or two which I anticipate commonly using, like for instance the word 'LEASE'; should I say something like 'me gusta firma y contrato? to someone who I need to have sign a lease? if not, what would be considered the appropriate way to ask a customer to sign a lease, could someone please type me back and let me know?

Mucho Gracias~

Tima

Hi Fatima, welcome to the forum smile

I hope you have found our lessons, and flashcards, they are very good and entertaining. Any question you cannot solve, just ask it here. Please, remember to put the words or sentence in the title. (I have changed this one for you)

I would say:

firmar un contrato

Por favor, le ruego me firme este contrato.

Por favor, firme aquí.
